Praise the Lord for the Kingdom Hikers!

I have been thoroughly and completely blessed by this wonderful group of young people.  This is an amazing group of young people between the ages of 16 and 23.  This is the exact ages of 'my' young people, who are at home and abroad and I miss so very much.  God is so very good!  He has given me opportunities to be with these delightful young people, and they actually want me to be with them (some even affectionately call me 'mom').  They are very dear and I love them very much.  They amaze me with their love for God, their desire to go deeper with Him, and their uninhibited way of worshipping and praying.

Here let me introduce you to a few of them:

Gideon, Robert, and my Johnny.

The Talent Show they hosted was awesome.  Everyone had so much fun!  But their goal is not to have fun, but to have a purpose and to reach out to other teens and people with God's love.   I am honored to be here with them.

It was a good day!

It is SUNDAY!!!

Every Sunday I load up my felt bible story board with the pieces I have chosen for my story, my craft, and 'sweeties' for the kids.  I have prepared during the week for the teaching.

This is my Beatie who tirelessly helped my cut out
the 600 felt pieces for the Felt Bible Stort Board!

Here I am making the game for this week.

Here are the 30 fish and bread necklaces I made for class.
Doesn't it look like a fish net? :-)
I arrive and enter the tent for worship, after worship I head to the 'classroom' where I am greeted by 10-30 wonderful children and begin to review last weeks teaching, sing, and teach my new lesson.

Teaching with my Bible Story Felt Board

We then choose songs to sing and review this weeks bible verse for presentation at the end of service.

This is 'Toss Jonah into the Fish' with beanbags.
Sometimes we play a game. Or just wait for our turn.

It is very fun teaching these wonderful children and I enjoy it very much!
I am very grateful to my brother Tom and his wife Barb for helping me get this Bible Felt Story board for me to use here in Kenya!
